Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Spring is here.

Default Spring is here.

15 degrees and sunny yesterday morning. Drove past a turkey flock down the road with 2 toms strutting. Won't be long now.

Default Can't wait to see this year's first gobbler.

Colorado
The roads in my favorite area with long beards aren't going to open for some time so this year I'm going to try a brand new place where I know there are gobblers, but I don't know where they're roosted yet or if their long beards. I'm going to try that area first scouting on the 7th and if that doesn't pan out I'm going to check out a Merriam's roost at high elevation and see if long beards are using it.
