Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default PA Triple Trophy!

So, I got the bear.
I got the buck.

I have to get the spring longbeard now!

Give me your best tips. I'm going to take a week off and give it my best shot this year.

I'm going to the cabin this Thurs- Saturday to flintlock hunt. But part of that will be scouting for spring turkey. Snow on the ground, I'll do allot of walking and glassing open areas. But the spring food will be different.

I've GOT to fill this tag!

Indiana county. Ag land with wood blocks.I counted one group with 124 birds in rifle season but I know they'll be elsewhere in the spring.

it ain't hard, just start scouting late march, pay attention to the roosting locations. do not call till you can kill them, do not call till they are on the ground. always position yourself uphill from them. call just enough too keep them moving your way, call very very low volume the last 50 yards.

I'm a novice. Sometimes it's been easy. Other seasons they've been the smartest critter I ever chased lol

It's a pretty good bird! Got some riding in during the afternoons as well.
