Choke tube selection
#1

I missed an Ole Tom this morning. My hunting partner claims it's because that I use a Primos Jellyhead choke tube. He says that I would be better off using the modified choke tube that came with the gun. Opinions appreciated.

He is wrong. What yardage did you shoot at the bird at? I guess it would have a lot to do with your cover of the area. If you are hunting in HEAVY brushy area, shots less than 20yds, maybe. Past that, you just blew the shot!!!! LOL!!!! What kind of shells are you shooting? Have you patterned the shells you are shooting?

Lot's of questions. He has not patterned his gun but I have patterned mine. I get an awesome pattern with my setup which is a Stoeger M2000 with a 28" barrel. Again my choke is a Primos Jellyhead. I am shooting Winchester Long Beard XR #5's.
I just blew it. There are more birds to be chased.
