He is wrong. What yardage did you shoot at the bird at? I guess it would have a lot to do with your cover of the area. If you are hunting in HEAVY brushy area, shots less than 20yds, maybe. Past that, you just blew the shot!!!! LOL!!!! What kind of shells are you shooting? Have you patterned the shells you are shooting?
