Questions about mouth calls and there position in your mouth
Just now trying to learn mouth calls and have a few questions.
Does the tab on a mouth call usually go on the roof of your mouth or face down toward your tongue.
Also if you have a call that has a cut reed does it go toward the roof of your mouth or down toward your tongue?
I know I should be using single of double reeds but just wondering on the cut reeds which way they go.

tab goes down, shortest reeds are on the bottom. If you find the gag sensation is too much, try trimming very, very little of the tape off the back. You can trim the sides too, but don't trim very much at a time. If you just can't get it right with the call you have, try another manufacturer's call; they all won't be the same.
