=I was able to lift the gun put the dot on his head and kill him before he could take off. I could never do that with a scope.
Disagree a scope is just as easy - done it several times. Know your equipment and I have used both. It what one prefers

I can shoot ducks on the wing and flushed pheasants with my burris if you can do that with a scope you are my hero. I know my equipment as well as anyone and I could shoot a scope forever and never be as quick on target as with the reflex site if you can that is awesome but I doubt many can. I used to prefer a scope until I tried a reflex and the reason I waited so long is I was also concerned about the battery issue but not anymore.

leave it on all day. you do not want a bird to slip in on you and you do not have the dot on.
Thats a bad feeling when you have a tom in range and you look through the scope and there is no dot.
I always keep a fresh battery in my vest.
