Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Scott will make the tape anyway you want, just call him and tell him your preference.

I had great success with Commando calls and Quaker Boy makes a foam fit call that is very simple to fit and use. Sounds very good too.

I have used whatever was on sale at the end of the season -- HS, Knight & Hale, Primos, Quaker Boy, etc. Of these mass market calls, I have a slight preference for HS, but I've found decent sounding calls in any of the companies. I've got a higher-end box and slate, but never tried a "better" mouth call -- always wondered if they were worth the extra $$.

I always thought the mass produced mouth calls were hard to get a good sound with. I then hunted with a guy that custom made his own calls and he made me a couple. Man what a difference so I started to use the custom made calls and will not likely ever use a mass produced one again.

To answer the question my favourite are made by Warbird Turkey Calls and second to XT calls. I have used Hooks but didn't really like them but they did put out a good turkey hunting dvd once.

Just what he said. Scott is a great guy to deal with. His customer service is top notch.

I've had good results with Woodhaven's CopperHead and the QB green latex calls.

Good choice. I started using his calls six or seven years ago. Email Scott or just give him a call, he will take care of you. My personal favorite is the Executioner or the Executioner 2. As stated before, great calls and even better customer service. He also makes a great sounding owl call.
