I'm partial to the Primos because they are one of the few that I can find that make a True Double (AKA Piggyback)

I'm not a fan of all the "bat cut" and such. I want a mouth call that I can cluck and tree call with. A simple double reed is fine by me. The True Double and True Triple are by far my favorite.

I tried a hooks mouth call... Really didn't like it that much the tape is really cut small more for like a youth call...

Prob will just stick with any call that cris Parrish has his name on... So far for me they just seem to pop that turkey sound out every time...

Call Scott at Hooks and he can cut the tape anyway you want. He cuts mine like Woodhavens because that's all I used for years.

I bought the Hooks calls once and found I didn't like the fit either. I would have liked to get the guy there to make a special one but he decided he wouldn't ship them to Canada anymore. I have been getting most of my mouth calls from Jim at Warbirds and he will do the same and make whatever you want plus he realizes that there are turkey hunters in Canada too and will ship to me. I have bought a bunch of calls from him when I shot my slam he made me up 4 different pot calls and put the slam pins in the base. They are great also. I have also bought calls from XT calls and they are very good also and he will customize them for you as well oh ya he will ship them to Canada as well.
