What shotgun would you recommend for a female looking to turkey hunt?

I purchased a Rem 870 - 20 gauge youth model for my grandson. I liked it so much I got one for myself. I also had the receiver drilled and tapped for a scope mount and had red dot scopes put on them. The 'little' shotguns are a dream to carry and win Supreme #5's drop turkeys as dead as a 12 gauge out to about 30 yds or so.

Remington makes 20ga 2 3/4" Turkey nitro shells number 4 and 6 shot.http://remington.com/comparison.aspx
I would use 3" but those will work, if that's all your gun will shot.

If you are small in stature...or like me have very little extra padding...the recoil can sure bruise and make shooting less fun. I received a Christmas gift this year that sure solved that problem for me.

It's a recoil shield that fits well on my shoulder and really does work. I can shoot repeatedly and not be sore at all. Sure physics will dictate that you get that jolt...but...it sure doesn't hurt like it did, nor am I left with a lovely bruise. I highly recommend getting one.
