Thanks for the replies... I'm getting really used to the call and getting some really good sounds out of it (from what I can tell).

I've got the yelp down, clucks are easy, now I'm just working on stringing it all together. I can also do a passable gobble, but know I won't be using that much... just funning around.

Amazing what a few days of practicing in the truck while driving to work has done. I do get some goofy looks though, I think most people think it's some kind of illegal smoking device, lol.

One tip for you. Keep your mouth relaxed on the call. Let me know if it helps.

Oh yeah, I've figured that much out... mouth relaxed and (in my case) my top lip has to touch the latex enough near the opening created by the gap between the latex and the cap to make the latex vibrate against it.

Otherwise it doesn't have any raspy-ness that's needed on the second note.
