Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Gobbler Down

It has been a tough year here in central Pa. for turkey hunting. The mast crop was scattered if you could even find any. I posted to a new turkey hunter that if you find the feed you would find the turkey and after being house bound because of SANDY the first week I wasn't having much luck. yesterday I visted and old turkey spot and found acorns and the place was extremely torn up. In the early afternoon I caught a glimpse of a turkey running up a small draw ( man was the woods ever noisy). Later on I decided to check out a tram and it was torn up also so I made a few clucks and then I saw them, three gobblers, start to cross the tram about forty yards in front of me. I got a shot at the third one and he went down. I now am taking a friend in there and see if he can shoot another turkey. I will be calling for him if he gets the main flock busted. Good luck to all of you guys and gals on your turkey hunting.

Congrats on the bird man. I got one down in Iowa, kinda stumbled on him while scouting.
