Default Turkey Load for a 16 Guage??

I recently inherited my late Grandpa's 16 guage shotgun. It has a full choke. I thought it would be neat to try & harvest a turkey with his old shotgun. I know shotshell selection is very limited for 16 guages. I'm looking for suggestions on what type of shell to use? Thanks

There's no "fancy" Turkey Loads for the 16 gauge
so just look at the 1-1/8 and 1-1/4 oz loads
they should go around 1300 fps (thats what "standard" Turkey loads go) Last year one of my buddies shot a turkey with Federal Wing-Shok #6's,16 gauge
look for
Remington express
Federal Wing-shok,Game-Shok
Winchester High brass
They all will work i shot a few turkeys with some federal #4's 1-1/4 oz 12 gauge

I use Federal® Wing-Shok® 2¾" Mag 1¼oz # 6Pb. Backup load is the same except with #4Pb.

Remington express long range I used it in my grandfathers old mossberg bolt action 16 gauge with good results, never shot at a turkey with it but it patterned surprisingly good to about 30-35 with just a full choke.

the federal loads mentioned are buffered and pattern pretty good for me, if you find them hord as many boxes as you can afford because they aren't easy to get.
