lead turkey loads
#1
I've been having poor patterns with my current setup
Stoeger 2000 28inch barrel,Undertaker choke,Winchester super x turkey 17/8 oz#5 and Federal Mag Shock turkey 1 1/2 #6.
I know this patterning "game" is all about best load/choke for MY gun.
But what are the generally best patterning LEAD loads?
and the generally best patterning LEAD loads for the undertaker choke?
I'm still trying to figure this stuff out i just want an idea of what loads to buy.

When I still used lead the black hulled Winchester Supremes were consistently the best in all my shotguns. I'd try those in 6's or 5's. What constriction is your choke? Lead typically likes to be choked a little tighter than the denser than lead stuff.

My undertaker .665
warning 3. (bold letters) "DO NOT fire steel or high density shot through thid UnderTaker Choke Tube. Barrel damage could occur."
i have got some Winchester Supremes #6 a few days ago i just haven't patterned them yet. and i found 3 remington #4 nitro turkeys from last year that i will pattern (had a few dumb shot misses with the remingtons)
