Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Michigan Tom Down!

I got my first ever Tom/Turkey this last Sat. He came into the decoys and started beating up the jake. I shot once, and missed. He thought the jake hit him so he just kept on smackin him. I shot a second time, and this time I didn't mess up. 24 pounds, 9.5 in beard, taken w/Z7

Awesome. First Tom and with a bow. I'm still trying to accomplish that.

Wow. Good deal. Your first gobbler and you got him with a bow. That's pretty awesome. Congrats! Good bird too.

Just getting a Tom is tough enough at times, but getting one with a bow as well is a great feat. Good job and a real nice bird as well.

Congrats on your first tom! With a bow even is something surely to be proud of! It is a great feeling slaming one with an arrow is it not? Even more impressive is a big turkey at 24lbs. Congrats again!
