Default Help!!! Lefty' s and semi' s

My question is I am left handed, I found a really good deal on a remington 1187 for turkey hunting, mobu camo, 21 inch barrel xx full choke. Does anybody know if when the shells eject out of a semi-auto like this if they will fly back and hit me in the eyes or face, If so i am not going to buy this gun, all thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you. P.S I shoot a right handed pump 835 ulti-mag and dont' t have this problem But not sure with an automatic.

Have you considered a Browning? I believe most Browning' s are bottom-eject on the shells.

As a fellow lefty I can tell you this, if the gun is a 3 1/2" then expect to get hit in the nose. If the gun is a 3" then only expect it if you got a big nose

I agree with BGUNNER..... I' m a south paw and semi' s for righty' s are not good.
I got a nice clip on the face from a semi .308 and have never touched another right handed semi again.
Bolt action (if you can work it ok) or pump no problem but no more right handed semi' s [&:]
