In my opinion you should never have taken it and you may now be responsible for it's death.

Most likely it is illegal for you to poses it and for good reason. I raised chickens and Pygmy has good advise. If it lives LET IT GO!

it will probably die......seen it before......someone thinking "Oh, I'll save it" but really that was the worst thing to do......the stress will most likely get it....hopefully I'm wrong.
