Default Which one do you use more of???

Was reading through T.R.' s tips segment of the forum here at bbs and was wondering which one of the 4 yelps of the wild turkey do you use more of during the spring season!A clear understanding of these vocalizations can make the turkey hunter a better turkey caller by making these vocalizations in the right time and (place, situation) afield! Here' s the choices...
tree yelp
plain yelp
lost yelp
assembly yelp..

Bob, I tend to use the Plain Yelp and add my own emotion to it. As a Compation caller I tend to practice Stage talk in the yelp as I work birds, not sure if it works , but some birds fall for it

the Assembly Yelp is a long series of yelps with an excited faster yelping emotion. This call can have up to 12-15 yelps in the call, also a good call that will work in spring aswell as the fall...BT

I tend to stay away from the yelp due to the fact that most hunters learn how to yelp before any other call. I have found that soft clucks and purrs work better because most hunters stay away from those types of calls. But that is only my opinion.
I have put a yelp or two in the middle of my cutting which really makes it sound as if thought hen is excited.

The plain yelp i use more of But we use them all during the course of the day with the possible exception of the assembly call, which is more of a fall call

From what I understand, the assembly yelp is actually particularized to each hen and her brood, which means, to me at least, that an assembly yelp will be pretty ineffective, as I have never raised a brood of turkeys. I think they are used in turkey calling contests, but I don' t think they are of value in spring turkey hunting, for sure.
