They are available now. I just got in some from mid south shooters supply. I have not yet received the 3-2-7 load yet though.

Not to nitpic, but I thought the "triplex" load from Environ was 4-5-7 or 4-6-7?

I know that Environ will be making a 3.5", 2.25 oz load in straight 7s that will be loaded to 1200 fps. That appears to be a direct effort to compete against the Nitro company loads that I currently shoot.

I can't find any of these around my area yet. I am going to the NWTF Convention Feb 20th and I expect to pick some up there. I hope the price is less than the $6.00 a pop that I paid for Nitros last year.

I am a bit dense. I get it now: 3-2-7 = 3" - 2 oz - 7 shot

I'm looking for the 3.5-2.25-7

Cabela's must have just gotten their alotment because I just rec'd. an email from them advising that they had sent out my backorder from a month ago. I ordered a 10 count box of the 5,6,7's. Cost- 25.00 shipped. It's going to be tough for them to top the Nitro's but you never know. They're definitely cheaper. It'll be a couple of wks before I can shoot em but if nobody else has posted their findings I'll post what I found out with them. I've also ordered an Indian Creek choke tube for my Encore which comes in a .660 constriction. Should be a great combination but you never know until you shoot em.

Yea. I'll prob be ordering my shells soon!!! I was looking at my patterns from last year and My gun really patterned the old Hevi13 #6 loads really well at 40 yards... Prob the best patterns I ever had...

I think that I will prob be shooting Hevi13 #6's this spring...

Thumbs up

I seen them (Hevi13 Blend), listed in the Cabela's Spring turkey issue catalog as well. But, I still have quite a few Nitro company shells left, and will try out those shells after I run out of the Nitro's....

That is my ALL-TIME favorite turkey gun! We've tested several Remingtons, Winchesters, 2 Browning Golds and even my Benelli Super Black Eagle II and NOTHING can throw a pattern as impressive and our Encore Pro Hunter with the Indian Creek, Black Diamond Strike choke....shooting 3", 2oz, #5 Hevi-13 !!! Pure turkey destruction to 60 yards!!!

Good luck and god shootin'

I am sure you will find them at the convention, but if you like you can get the 3.5-2.25-7's here http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.co...NAV=3&vendors=

Quite a bit cheaper than Nitro's especially when you factor in the rebate, and if I recall correctly Environ Metal is advertising somewhere around 290 in a 10" at 40 yards for their magnum blend so the straight 7's should be even better.
