Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Anyone know where you can get some after market choke tubes? This is for the single shot

It would prob help you more if you would tell what gage your gun is also...

I have a H&R 10ga with screw in chokes... My gun has the same thread pattern as the browning shot guns, so I when I bought my Tru Glo turkey choke I had to buy one for a browning... I would call H&R and ask them...

I bought Briley after market tubes for several other brand shot guns and am extremely happy with their performance.

In fact White - your post has made me look for a single shot just for Turkey Hunting.

But I want a Cantelever barrel or the ability to scope it - I am blind - so to speak and can no longer put a front sight properly in a back ramp for open sights.

And I want a 20 Gauge. I do not take shots much past 35 yds now - my goal is to have them close.

Last year had 2 close - one taken at 11 paces (<10 yds) and then topped that at 8 paces (< 7 yds). that was the most fun yet!

Thanks for any help Oh Waterfowl Team mate!

Hey maybe we will be ont he same team for turkey hunting - look for ths sign-ups soon!

The H&R takes Invector/Winchoke threaded choke tubes. You can get them most anywhere. I recommend Indian Creek or Pure Gold.

JW!; You can drill and tap the single shot 20ga to accept a scope. They make an awesome turkey gun!

I know for a fact the 20ga can be drilled and tapped because I have had it done in the past, and I know quite a few people who have done it as well. They just make awesome little turkey guns!
I don't see how the 12ga would be different, but I dont doubt thats what they said, and I am definitely not recommending going against their advice.

H & R used to have a $40 off certificate in the box, if you sent in your new gun to them to have a turkey choke installed. Did they stop that offer?
