Good hunting - but dont' limit yourself to one day, it often takes several days to get a bird.

God bless,

It sounds like you are trying too hard to hunt out of the blind...Be in position 45 minutes before daylight, listen to the tree gobbles and move in, forget the blind...

Let them gobble for about 10 minutes and call softly, if they answer, shut up and wait for them to come to you...Once they answer you, they know you are there and where you are...

Some great advice from everyone. Patience is a big part of it. Go early and stay late. Birds dont gobble every day but they can be killed.

well another day and nothing!I couldnt get the birds to shock gobble this morning. So i set up to wait them out well day break comes with no gobbles from the roost.Waited for 2hrs and headed for my other spot.Nothing happening there in the way of gobbling either.I set my blind up on the edge of a feild on this other property for tomorrow. It's only 30 acres with like 10 or 15 huntable so not very big.I think im going to set up in the woods in the morning then back out to the feild if need be.

Waht was the weather like? Turkeys may not gobble much if it is cold, windy or wet.

If you do not hear any gobbles, it may be becaus the birds roosted somewhere else. They dont always use the same trees. How much scouting haveyou actualy done. Have you scouted everything within a mile of where you heard the birds.

You have to be where the turkeys are, so if you don't heare them - you need to go and try to find (hear) them somepalce else.

God bless,
