WHite tail Merriams
I am located in Ontario Canada and am hoping to get a Merriams with the white tipped tail feathers, I know that the creamy colored ones are also true merriams but would like to get a white tipped one a part of my slam. I am in the Army here and will be overseas shortly so I am trying to plan for a Spring 2010 hunt will in advance...
Can anyone help me n the best location to try and tag a white tipped merriams and any help with guides or areas to hunt would be most appericated... I am not trying to steal anyones honey hole and any info via PM will be treated as confidential and I will not broadcast it to the masses.

South Dakota, Black Hills.
Tags are over the counter for non residents and unlimited. 1.5 million acres of public hunting ground FULL of Merriams. Most all of them out here will have a white tipped fan.
