Best Loads for Black Powder Shotgun
#1
I am looking for the most effective load combination for a 12-gauge black powder shotgun for Turkeys.
How much shot (oz), what size, how much powder (Pyrodex, FFG, Triple Seven, etc), others (types of wads, overshot cards, etc), and effective range?

You need to spend some time at the range - I use 100 grains pyrodex - 1/2" over the powder wad - a BP tuff shot cup - 1 7/8 ounce of #4 copper plated lead shot.
Now this has been the most effective - best patterning load for me.
I have a 10 Ga side by side Pedroselli.
Do NOT exceed the manufacturers recommended powder load.
Shot cups (google BP Ballistics they have a huge selection) did help greatly with my patterns.......But taking someone elses load is NOT the thing to do - you need to find the load that will pattern the best in your gun as each is different.
