fletching

hey guys i finally manned up and bought a arrow fletcher and i started looking and noticed i can fletch up to 6 vanes/feathers on an arrow. would this help with shooting magnus bullheads/ guillotines?

I've never heard of using more than four.At any rate three 5" or four 4" should be enough to stabilize the arrow so long as the spine is right and both the nock and head are mounted true.

I think 6 fletchings wouldbehavelike a flu-flu arrow. It seems to me they would tend to slow down quickly.

6 Sounds like overkill. I use 3, some people use 4. What kind of rest are you using? You might want to be sure you don't have clearance issues however you decide to fletch.
