I found these rib mounted scope mounts, they're called rib-riders by Aimtech.

I like the looks of them and I like how they're attached to the barrel instead of a saddle mount and they look sturdier than a cantilever. I'm thinking it would be perfect with a low power scope that has a long eye-relief and crosshairs so that I don't have to worry about batteries. If anyone has used one tell me what you think.
