Default Decoy refurbish

Hi guys,
This past weekend I fixed up my decoys. My hen decoy had some spots that needed repainting. I also installed some better looking eyes thatI purchased from a taxidermy supplyplace. They look better to me, but it's the gobbler's opinion that matters most. Its beak looks yellow-er than pictures of real turkeys but that's what is was like when I bought her. I might try to mix a little gray & yellow to tone it down some.
I've attached a before & after of the hen. I replaced the eyes of the jake & gobbler too.

Here's before and after views of my gobbler decoy. You can really see the difference.

In Pat_Ely's post above that is pinned - putting a shine to the eyes does in fact help.

Pat's quick fix was to use clear dab of nail polish.

Good job - good post.
