Well its been tried and tested and man does it work. The MOTO MAGNET (CABELAS). This little gadget has definately proven itself with me. This is a little 9 volt motor that sits on the end of the decoy stake that makes the decoy bob up and down. Ive killed one and missed another bird that came trotting in to this setup. My hunting partner has killed two big gobblers that responded to it. I mounted it in the jake decoy and I guess it drives them crazy. One bird actually pounced on it and commenced to beating the crap out of it before my buddy shot him AND the decoy. Im getting another one to put in the hen decoy.

Why don' t you just use monofilament fishing line and a reel?

I used to do it that way but it required movement on my part and the line would always get tangled. With this gadget, you dont have to do anything except turn it on when you set out your decoy. Much less fumbling around.
