Five Beards!!! Wow I can barely count that far!! Way to go!

I took my first bird yesterday morning. Shot him in NW North Carolina.

I thought he was more mature, but still happy to harvest him.

My brother-in-law, myself & landowner all went opening morning in NC. The landowner is 74 years old and had never taken a spring gobbler. We called in and videoed 3 longbeards. The landowner took a double bearded(10" & 6" ) for his first. My brother-in-law took a 10.75" bearded/1 3/8" spurred gobbler on the same set up. Made for great footage and tickled the landowner to no end.

SHOOOOO!!!!!!!!! gobblers are hened up bad but I finely connected .hunters bad too. the score is 65.25 the one on the right.the other one is my hunting buddy.

I hate to bring down the team 12 average,but this is my first turkey and I took him with a bow (talk about a thrill)
