Back pain not withstanding, I survived opening day. Did manage to walk about 300 yards from the truck and sit down for a couple of hours. Heard 3 gobblers on an adjacent field about 500 yards away but couldnt walk any further and they just wouldnt come the distance. Nice morning to just sit in the woods anyway. Didnt hear any shots in the area either so thats good. Hope ya' ll had better luck. Looks like treeclimber had a good Saturday morning.

Hey...a bad day in the woods is still better than a good day at work...right. Sorry to hear about the pain keeping you from getting along, but glad you could get out and hear some them things!!
