Default Turkey Chokes for a 10 gauge?????

Does anyone know who makes turkey chokes for a 10 ga. Remington SP-10? The only one I could find was in Cabela' s and is a Patternmaster. When the choke arrived I discovered that it is polished steel! That thing sticks out like a beacon!

Finding a choke for a 10 ga. has been a real pain. I can' t locate any manufacturers that produce a 10 ga. choke. I' ve been toying with the idea of trading for a 3-1/2 in. 12 ga. and this choke dilema adds fuel to the fire.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Get a Tru-Glo choke they make one for your 10ga. I have one in my NEF 10ga and it shoots great. I also have one in my 11-87 and it shoots great also...

I assume your 11-87 is a 3-1/2 in. 12 ga.? If so, how does it compare to your 10 ga.? Just curious as I have been toying with the idea of going to a 3-1/2 in. 12 ga. but I' m not sure what I' d be losing in terms of range, knockdown, etc.

Thanks!

Get a Rhino choke....I have a buddy who uses one on his Browning BPS 10 ga. and the patterns he gets are unbelievable. Contact Nitro Ammo Company

www.nitrocompany.com

You can also contact Rhino direct at: 1-800-226-3613....this # came off the back of my Rhino choke package. The Rhino choke will also shoot hevi-shot if you are interested in trying that.

My 11-87 is a 3" Mag. My 10ga shoots a little better than the 3in. But not by much.

Look on ebay, they have a tube there now for $9, don' t know what kind it is, do a search for (turkey tube or turkey choke) there was truglo strut stopper SP-10 on there a couple of days ago that went for $30 new. I shoot a Truglo Strut stopper in my SP-10 and get very good consistent patterns. Hastings, Kicks, Comp n Choke, Rhino, Briley all make tube to fit 10 ga. and they are black and don' t shine

Thanks for the input!!

I checked a few that Duxnbux suggested and found that they do make tubes for my SP10. I also spoke with Remington as I want to try their Hevi Shot 10 Ga. loads this year. They said that I need a tube that is compatable with lead and steel. It looks like the Tru Glo is not compatable with steel. Does anyone know about the others??

Hastings has been making chokes for that gun for a very long time.
