last year I put mine out 2 months before the season. then my neighbor put his out within sight of mine (400 yards ...big field) the day before and we both killed birds on opening day

if i'm using my pop up blind i set it up either the day before i hunt or sometimes that same morning. but more often than not i'll try and make a natural blind if the terrain allows. you know, using weeds, old logs, pine limbs, anything that matches the area i'm hunting. you might want to think about trying that as well.

last year i had the blind set up before the hunt but this year everytime i set it up the morning i hunted. I usually set it in along the woodline. This time i think im goins t set it out in the middle of a field. i dont think it matters. or does it?
