Default mossberg 500 at wal-mart

Has anybody bought one from there. I was looking at the 500 12 ga. with the 24 in. barrel and woodlands camo. Any info on them would be great.

My nephew bought a mossburg in the woodland and the camo came off very easy. My other buddy bought a mossburg from wal-mart in the realtree hardwoods and the camo is also coming off it but not as bad as the woodland camo.

i have one but i have the regular wood stock. the only thing that i don' t like about it is the 3inch shells are sometimes hard to get to eject if you are in a hurry. i have to make a special effort to pump it hard. but that may just be a problem that i have--- other than that i love it!

look to the skies for He is coming soon!!

I have the very gun your talking abou. Ive killed a turkey with it and got a slug barrel and killed deer with it. Its nothing fancy but is a workhorse. I use it twice a year and dont see the need to get a new one.

I have a friend that just bought one and its not a bad gun for the $149.00 that he paid for it . We shot trap with it and he broke 23 birds in the first round .

I bought one three years ago and its worked fine. It patterns 3" number 4' s (federal) the best. average 7 pellets in the head and neck at 40 yards.
Camo finish is holding up pretty good. Im happy with it.

That' s the gun I use. No problems with the camo. I put a little bit of RemOil on mine then wipe it with a dry rag. Mine prefers the Federal Premium 3" #5' s with a Star Dot in .667. Only problem I have had so far..... When it gets dirty it will not feed high brass shells in 2 3/4" or 3" . I don' t mean super dirty, just a couple of rounds and I have a single shot. Guess I need to send it back to Mossberg. I just gun scrub the crap out of it after shooting and it works.... [:@]

So what if the camo chips a little. It' s a gun to hunt with.
