Hey camelcluch, there are a ton of birds up in the northwest between the towns of Norton and Phillipsburg. There is a fair amount of public access, but getting on private land has never been a problem. Highway 24 between Edmond and Glade courses along the north fork of the Solomon river. You'll see alot of birds, and I've only been turned down on a couple of occasions when asking permission to hunt. I suspect one reason landowners are so willing is that so few hunters ask. Deer hunting is a totally different issue. Hope this helps you.........

I saw a ton of birds by Norcator (sp) and the lake near there. I think that is too far for a day trip. Sorry about the lack of pictures. My camera went dead right as I turned it on. I would like to try and fill that lasat tag but as ofnow, I am happy with thehunt I had.
