Which gun?

I'm actually surprised to see some of the guns folks are suggesting, especially considering that the question was,.... "What is the best 3.5" auto loader for turkey?" ???
So why would folks suggest the cheapy Benelli pump??
Having had the chance to use, shoot and hunt with a few of the industries finest auto then I would suggest taking a very serious look at the Benelli SBE II and the Browning Gold N.W.T.F edition. These guns are incredible performers especially when matched with a Black Diamond Strike choke from Indian Creek! Even with these excellent autos and knowing thats what you're lookin' for, my favorite has become a T/C Encore Pro Hunter fitted with their 24" barrel and a custom choke. Load it with 3" 2oz Hevi-13 loads and it's an absolute gobbler crunchin' machine!
Good luck and good huntin'

Go with the benelli, I love mine although its the nova(pump). i am not sure about their auto loader but the pumps have an "in thestock" recoil system that you can purchase if the 3.5" has too much bite.

Not a semi-auto but I was shooting a Mossberg 500 20 ga and this year got a Mossberg 500 20 ga Super Bantam in RT camo and so far is shooting pretty nice. Affordable but good gun.
