i was wondering if anyones heard from turkey lady? i rememeber her from last spring. she was a hoot.

She was alot of fun ! But !
There was a contest last spring that she organized for turkey hunting. She ordered $165.00 bucks wirth of calls from Newman Brown out of her own pocket, and a few of us chipped in and donated a few calls for it. It was a free Contest that you signed up here for and open to everyone , Well Turkeylady became very sick befour it all ended and she was a little slow getting the calls out to the winners, Well some got out of control and started ripping her up about not getting there calls in time, that they won on the free contest. Well from what I heard they where all sent out just shortly after the uproar and some of the winner moved to other forums and TurkeyLady quit oming on the forum. Its to bad something like this had to happen, but I learned out of it! they'll never be another Contest like that on this forum well I'm here. I miss her my self she was fun <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>...BT

about not gettin my prize. but, i was disappointed after waiting months
and still not gettin it. anyway, I did appoligize to everyone here includin

Bo, don't close the door buddy. I was just as vocal about what had happened as well. You didn't do anything wrong at all. Yes, TL was a fun person, no doubt about that. But the way she handled her end of that contest, had left many people with a very sour taste in their mouths. I was sorry to see her go as well but that was her decision to leave. Maybe some day she'll change her mind about comming back, who knows.

Guys don't get me wrong , I'm not pointing fingers anywhere, it is a past issue and feel I just learned that Contests leave bad feelings that we don't all need...BT

BOSSTOM, i appriciate the info. i'm sorry if i ruffled any feather's with anyone on this subject. i had no idea what happened to TL. last year in mid may after the season closed, i stopped posting on this board until about 3 weeks ago. now i've got the turkey fever again.
