Good Crow Call
#12
I also have an "older" (20 years I bet) Knight and Hale crow call that I absoluely love and take with me everytime I go. It really sounds like a crow and I can get real loud on it. Usually I get other crows to respond when I use it and I have gotten many turkeys over the years to gobble with it. I find it is most useful in the mid-morning - afternoon timeframe.

I found one of my missing calls, its a Hammerin Crow. Tried it tonight for the first time and it sounds pretty good, at least in my basement. I think my dog might disagree tho. I think I'll give it a shot this year.

I purchased the Haydel Crow call this weekend and really like the wide range of sound it produces, however what is with the awful smell. Is it something with the plastic? I have seen where several people have mentioned the same about the smell. Overall it's the best crow call I've heard.
