Years ago when I first started turkey hunting I took only a mouth call, a shot gun and three shells. The system worked quite well; however, now what I carry looks like a section out of Cabela's Catalog loaded on an ATV. It is amazing how many more "Things" are required to harvest a turkey these days....

I know I carry way more than I need. Seems like I carry all this stuff in and I usually grab my "tried-and-true" calls that always get them gobbling. I do take too much...

Tom Kelly claims in Tenth Legion that he is the "best in the world" at spooking gobblers off the roost by deficating under thier roosting tree. I personally make sure that I bring the tp everytrip in the woods, because, like Tom Kelly I always have to go once I get a cup of coffee and a quarter mile of walking. So, TP is always in my vest.
