Default Reddot scopes?

Im thinking about getting a reddot for my shotgun. I want one that would be good for turkey and deer. Any suggestions.

I got the redot scope from bass pro and it's a good scope. I would recommend it.

I bought one for $50 at cabelas, it was Pine Ridge (Cabelas) brand, the first one broke from the recoil, and the guy told me it was shock proof, he gave me a new one, I would go for a higher quality one.

I have the mueller quik shot. I believe its a 43mm objective. Its a little more then a pine ridge, and more then a tru glo but as far as quality goes its not in the same league as those two.

Hick,
I have used 2 brands Ultradot that I got from EABrown Co and a Leupold/Gilmore.The Ultradots havebeen on my 10 ga NEF and 12 ga guns. The leupold Gilmore was on a Black powder and I have had no probs. with either. I do like the Leupold/Gilmore better, its bigger at 35mm.

While I never tried using one, from all I've ever read about them, the "Aimpoint" line is rated #1. While not cheap, you do get what you pay for with these!! I seen first hand one of those BSA Red Dots fall apart from only 3 shots out of my buddies 11-87 turkey gun. If you want quality, it's going to cost you some money!! Same for scopes.

yeah I have heard great things about aimpoint. If I was in the military or going out west and wanted a red dot I would consider one for sure. I have also heard several stories on the BSA's true glows, and pine ridge units falling apart.

I will say I have shot almost 40 turkey loads 3 and 3.5" through my Benelli with my Mueller and it has been great. $119 cant beat the price for the features plus if it did fail I can still look under it and use my bead sights.
