im going turkey hunting with my bow this year because i cant find anyplace that wil let me use a shotgun.(im hunting a farm ight outside the city) anyways, i was wondering about my choketubes. they say two thing on each (lead imp.cyl. and steel mod.on one, lead mod. steel fullon another,) but then i have one that says lead full but when i read the back of the container it said for use with lead or steel shot. my question is scince all the others the steel is one tighter than the lead and this one said lead full would this be a stell x-full? its a browning bps invector plus steel speacial if it helps. thanks. another thing scince if i can get permissin to hunt another farm i will hunt that after the first 2 days i go with a bow with a shotgun, assuming i get drawn, how do you test pennitration?

I'm not sure about the choke. The ones I have that are for lead only say that on the tube. I'd check with Browning's web site to be sure for shooting steel shot in that tube. As for the test I'd shoot them into old phone books and see which goes in the deepest.
