RE: NEF shotgun
Well, I went to walmart to order the gun today. And the guy that worked in the sporting goods section wasn't any help at all. "Duh, we don't know how to order guns". He called managment, and they didn't know how to go about ordering guns either. This guy has worked back there since I've lived here! at least 3 years! And even the manager didn't know how! Great.
They told me to come back tomarrow between 8 and 2 in the morning. "Dan will be in by then, he'll know what to do". Great. "Hey ya'll, watch this" |
RE: NEF shotgun
Ok, they didn't have any in stock. So rather than go through walmart I went to a pawn shop and bought an SB2 10ga with fixed full choke. It doesn't kick much at all. I shot it with winchester #4 and it didn't pattern very well. I assume something will throw a good pattern with it. When I find it, I'll be real happy.

RE: NEF shotgun
Good luck with your used gun. I think you will be sorry for getting a gun with a fixed choke. There are other place to buy gun besides Wal Mart.
And by the way i refer to those guys as bullet salemen because thats all they can handle!!!! Edited by - Mr. Longbeard on 02/10/2003 19:49:38 |
RE: NEF shotgun
Kodiak try some standard velocity #6's. I have had some shotguns that just would'nt pattern #4's very well at all.
THE NRA, WHERE WOULD YOU AS A GUN-OWNER BE WITHOUT THEM. GUN-OWNERS, UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL. |
RE: NEF shotgun
Kodiak,I have the same shotgun(which I don't shoot anymore)and mine really likes Federal "6's-patterned very poorly with the #4 shot.
