RE: NEF shotgun

I would think the recoil on the 10ga would seem less than than the 12 since the 10 weighs like 9 pounds and the 12 only weighs 6. Am I correct with this?

That's one heavy gun!

Well when i bought the beast thats exactly what the salesman told me that the 10ga would kick a little less than the 12 due to the weight. As far as I'm concerned it kicks like a mule but it shoots great and thats all I'm concerned about.

When i first bought this gun i had a few friends with custom guns that were worked on by Mark Bansner tell me that my 10ga was a poor mans turkey gun. Well they just couldn't wait to take me to the range and show me up with there custom turkey takers. Well after we were done shooting they all didn't have to much to say anymore. My poor mans turkey gun outshot all theres!!!!!

Me personally i would get the 10ga...

Kick doesn't bother me (yet). Do you use 3" or 3-1/2" shot shells?
I assume you never had a problem with the shells ejecting? Do you prefer the x-full choke or the full?

The 10ga only comes in 3.5in shells... No prob with ejecting...

The NWTF HI state pres uses one. He likes them. Simple, safe, effective; a great gun for the $$. I'm thinkning of getting one myself as a back-up.

I went to walmart today just to look at the exact price of the 3-1/2" 12ga with black stock. It was $130.96. The 10ga was 187.96.

Still about half what most other 3-1/2" turkey guns costs.

Kodiak, not much difference between the 2 on how they shoot and pattern, and both of them will kick the crap out of you, But they are a good gun for the money and will kill a turkey just as far and just as dead as the 800 dollar turkey specials you hear about.

I'm going to get the 12ga. Because I already have tons of 12ga ammo around.
