Hey,
I want to go hunt with the dude that has 300 turkeys per square mile!!!!! Seems like they would have scratched ya'll into non existance by now. LOL I hunted 10,000 acres in eastern Tennesse last season and couldnt raise a gobble!Matter of fact in three days we only saw one bird and it was a hen.Would you mind spooking some of them 300 over to eastern TN???

>>>> Ryan got it right. Texas has about 600,000 birds by last count. If anybody is ever out near Fredricksburg,TX in the fall or winter.... Check out South Llano State Park. They reportedly have the largest wintering flock of wild turkeys in a single location in the entire country. My family and I visited the park a few years ago during Christmas break and witnessed in excess of 500 birds go to roost in a grove of Cottonwoods along the creek. No gobblin',but you should have heard the rukus they stirred up!
