Default Ever see a striker like this ??

I just wondered if anyone has seen this in a striker ?
I thought about it the other day and tried it. Putting 3 different woods togeather in one striker. I can hear a difference in each one ,I'm surprised. This is what I came up with...BT

I will not use Imagestation again it is junk,

I like them with Long Sharp Spurs....

nope...but i will say thats a sweet looking striker...have you played around with the shape of the back piece(brain fart cant think of the name!)...just wondering ive seen a few of yours and they all have the same shape...pretty nice shape but i was wondering if you get a diffrent sound with diffrent shapes or not?? man you make some nice strikers...do you sell them or just make them for a hobby and to have them around? i bet you could sell them...i know a bait/hunting shope sells hand turned ones at 10-15+ bux a piece...

Haven't seen one like that BT!Nice looking piece of work!I've seen the flipover strikers before where you have one end that is one surface of sort and the other end is something different!Good idea BT.

Nice work BT!! Looks pretty good to me as well. I like imagestation, it's the best I seen so far since photopoint. Just have to fool with it a bit!! Hang in there!!

Thanks guys,
Mauser , I have changed the shape aswell cut the ball off the end and drilled it out, but I found that it didn't like the sound of the cut off drilled out , it was much higher in pitch. The Tone that I'm getting off of these shapes seem to be a nice one. After calling Comp's for years I have a sound that I'm looking for and if I don't like what I hear I don't think it wirth the time making them. I like it as a hobby but if someone has the hankerin to have one all they need to do is email me...BT

very nice work BT. although I bet they see very little use in the woods, you know as well as I that you almost always use mouth calls. Im guessing that you already have boxes of mouth calls around the house, filling the fridge....which led you to this?? soon enough you will be able to put those strikers to work my friend. Let us know how they work. Remember, there is always a bud lite waiting for you in TX!
