Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

invention/technique/improvement to hit the turkey hunting market within the past 10 years???

Personally, I've got to give my nod to the internet. Not only can we discuss strategies on message boards like the BBS, but we have access to numerous custom call manufacturers and competitive hunting suppliers. I've got a long list, but I have to place the internet and its instant access at the top.

Let's hear from everyone else on how hunting old longbeard has improved the last decade, with your choice for the best improvement.

Greatest improvement to me is the re-introduction of the wild turkey itself in Ontario through the partnerships of the NWTF, Ontario MNR, OFAH, and numerous state DNR's and countless volunteers. From a lottery hunt in 1984 to a 2 bird limit today an increasing new turkey population attracts hundreds of new turkey hunters every year here.

Great question and even better answer S&R!Our overall equipment continues to improve year after year from our firearms, apparel, calls, and all those accessories that go with turkey hunting now! With this in mind a good modern turkey hunting vest that holds all our equipment and offers comfort from its buttseat and back cushion is downright handy in my book!!Comfort keeps you out there longer!

I agree as well, the internet is a good pick. Right along with the numerous Video's, new Custom turkey chokes, and this new sleeper of the bunch, "HEVISHOT"!! Yes, I think this new shot will be the shell of choice. As soon as more companies start making it, the price will start to drop. Right now it's still pretty steep!!
