Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Help for a Rios

I'm looking to try and take a Rio's this spring for the 3rd leg of my slam.I'm wondering if any of you guys can throw a little info my way on where you have tryed, or taken, a Rio's that can help me out. Guided or unguided,it doesn't matter. I'm open on where to go,be it Texas,Oklahoma,or Kansas.

well my friend , I've taken a few and most in TX and one in KA. Texas would be your best bet and if you don't mind paying a few dollars the Ford Ranch should be full of 2 year olds. Last spring there was hundreds of Jakes there. Forest the care taker will see you take home a couple of them I'm sure. Other then that Ryan Tucker was looking for guys on a hunt in TX aswell. If you want to see some Gobblers on taken on the Ford I have a photo...BT

If BossTom's conections are booked, I got my first Rio's in Texas with Buck Thompson at:
C & S Cattle Company
Route 30
Breckenridge, Texas
(254) 559-1758

This year I am heading to Oklahoma. Both trips were set up with Tim Herald. http://www.grandslamhunts.com/ He helped me to complete my first slam.
