mauser06 , go get your self a Double or a Triple reeded mouth call. I would say QuakerBoy , but what ever you can find ,that will start you again. After you get going again you can take a pare of sissors and make a small cut in the Top reed a inverted V cut, or a Ghost, or just a half moon and turn the call into a Raspy one if you would like...BT

Mauser the thing is to find one that you are comfortable with. If you have confidence in it, you can kill birds with it. Practice alot, and just be patient. there are alot of great calls out there, so just find one that fits you.

thanx guys i will try one of them....i know anything new takes practice to get good with...and i wont use it if i dont feel confident in...i hate having birds out at 60 yds and all i have in my arsnal is box calls and slates and glass calls...all require to much movment when the bird can see you and wont walk in farther...a little coaxing will help i think..and a mouth call will do the trick...thanx alot

Mauser06 I've had good luck with "the matchmaker" by cane creek calls I get mine from WWW.midwestturkeycall.com easy to use and the birds seem to like it.
