Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I'd say your off to a pretty good start, but I would be trying to call in hens instead of gobblers. Chances are they will be with hens as many of them as there are.

Wow... and I thought I saw a lot when I saw 25 turkeys on our property.

Wow! Seriously, I am with strutnbuck... with all those hens, the toms won't have to work real hard for companionship! Try getting some of those hens fired up and coming to you and its a good chance he will follow. But then again, the flock just might be starting to break up. When does your season start? If its soon then call for the hens. If its in a couple weeks, you may need to challenge the toms! Good Luck and Safe Hunting!

That sure is a large flock , with that many hens around you'll have a hard time trying to get one of those toms away.
Are you planing on setting up along the field edge with some type of ground blind and ambush them as they go into the field.
Like strutnbuck said they may be all hened up by the time your hunt starts , so you might want to call the hens in and try some decoys.

When do you start hunting Hoytteen?? Since you are about in line with Minnesota (Laterally) I would guess that the birds are probably in winter mode yet and haven't broken up. Hens are feeding and gobblers are fanning but tolerating each other for now. I would imagine that when your seasonstarts in a few weeksthings will be different then as they will probably disperse a lot more than they are now.

Looks like you have a good area for turkey hunting.
