Got busted today...by a deer.

Well, I'd forgotten that it doesn't get day light till 7:15. I was at the WMA gate plenty early..and still was behind 20 trucks. My place I walk to is 2.1 miles. I got there at 6:00 AM.
No sooner did I get set up and I heard something walking towards me. Right towards me...Weird thoughts started going through my head like maybe there really is a Green Swamp monster or maybe a big boar is going to go nuts on me. When the snapping of twigs got within breathing distance I couldn't stand it no longer. I turned on my headlamp..It was a deer..I couldn't see the head real good but it diffently kept running in circles and snorting loudly. That was the only action I had..

The snorting was Deer laughter, "HaHaHA, here I am Chuck and you can't shoot me, Bye!"

I was in your neck of the woods Reb. Orange Lake area. Alos. the game wardens set up a road block. I'm glad they checked me. My license runs out tomorrow..Wow, that was close.c7

I hunted Orange lake Reb..becauseI called up a gobbler there last year and saw 3 roosting as well. Strut said there was a good chance they may be there this year so I took a gamble. The road where you are talking about is much worse than normal with my vehicle. I checked it out and turned around. The sand was up to the oil pan.
