Everyone loves the hat!

I hope it has some more magic left for this saturday so I can call a bird in for my Dad. He seems more excited to go hunting than I have seen him in a long time. He's even dug out his old box call that is probably as old or older than I am! Not sure if it will still sound too good, we'll see.

Ryan: Put the hat on your dad. If he won't wear it, you might just wanna duct-tape it to hisboots or to the stock of his shotgun or something. For the lucky hat to be effective, it must be worn by the shooter.

WMH - I'm not a Yankee fan per se, I just happen to own a Mariano Rivera "Hall of Fame Series" foam Jake Decoy. It came with a free Turkey Hunting World Series replica ring, an autographed Butterball t-shirt and a Tom Turkey bobblehead.

Just checking in, sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy with work and finishing my senior year of h.s. Hopefully I will be able to check in a long beard after my first hunt of the season on Saturday. Looks like were going good this season boys, keep it up.

Well I have been busy and havent been on in a little while. Yesterday Iowa's 4th season opened and by 30 minutes in, I was all tagged out. Now I can help my wife and a couple buddies get there birds since I'm done. Here he is.... 25 lbs, 7/8 inch spurs and a really thick 10 inch beard for a total score of 62.5.

Congrats Jepcho... Great bird and a really nice pic! Big bird!

Quick... I thought you were a Yankee fan... and just comparing your decoy to Rivera! LOL...
I am a die hard Boston fan... so I have to stir the pot whenever I can!

That is pretty cool though... I will have to start referring to my decoy as Jonathan Papelbon now! :)

We are certainly stacking up some birds for Team 3. My brother in law took a nice bird in CT this AM... 19 lb, 3/4" spurs, 10" beard.

Jep - awesome work buddy. I wish we grew 'em that big around here - 25 pounds is a monster. By our local standards 21-23 pounds is a heavyweight.

Hey guys, the stickers arrived ahead of schedule (Yesterday) - and they look AWESOME! At lunchtime, I might run them down to the post office and get em out to Greg.

If you haven't mailed an envelope to Greg, I would highly encourage you to do it. We have a stack of stickers about 3-4" thick to distribute. I already put one on the stock of my turkey gun.
