7 days and counting!!!

I have been seeing plenty of birds on our creek, so lets hope this monsoon we just had didn't run them off. In the past 2 days we've had well over 5 inches of rain.

This creek is usually has about 3-6 inches of water. Now it's at least 12 feet deep!

39 days to go.............. I will be scouting AGAIN, in 2 weeks and hope to get them on the roost. Reports still suggest they are winter flocked but, there are a lot of birds in my hunting area so, hopefully, most hens are tending by my hunt time and Tom is still looking for some love.......

Yeah for the most part it has all runoff and isa lot lower. I kinda liked it when it wasup because I then knew what side of the creek theywould most likely be on

I have been hearing and seeing birds every afternoon while on the farm. This year's opening weekend is looking like it is going to be a good one. This next week could be the longest in history.

On a side note, my stock for hte 535 is away to be replaced after finding it to be busted. As soon as it arrives they are to call me and next day air it back so I can get the new Tru-Glo sites dialed in. I hate being rushed!
