Sorry team. Had 3 longbeards at 50 yards but they seemed scared of the decoys. We still heard them gobble until 10 o'clock but then they shut up and we couldn't find them. Oh well, next Saturday will be good.

Well, my season is done. I didn't get one, but my wife got a dandy boss gobbler. 25.10 pounds, 10" beard, 1 1/4" spurs. We are getting him full mounted. We had given up on him twice, but the third time he committed and paid the price! It was her first bird and what a great way to start! We had some good hunts, but could only close the deal on that one. Still had a great time, awesome weather. Good luck to those who still are out there!

It's weird that your season ends a day after our youth day. I saw 2 real nice gobblers today. Real thick beards, 10"+. They were both struting with a Jake and around 4 hens. I'm surpised they let the Jake run around and strut with them. Hopefully they'll be back Friday night.

Guys I tagged out today in Kentucky. My second was bigger than my first. He was 20 lbs, 10 1/4" beard, & 1" & 1" spurs = 60.50
I took him at 37 yds with a 20 ga. Killed him deader that a door nail. Good luck to all still hunting. I will post some pictures later.
